CITY OF POWAY COMMITTEE OPENING Poway, CA - The City of Poway welcomes your application to serve on an advisory committee. These committees provide a wide variety of valuable technical and administrative services to the City and its residents. An opening currently exists for the following committee: BUDGET REVIEW COMMITTEE – One Vacancy Qualifications: Must be a Poway resident. Purpose: To review the annual Operating and Capital Improvement Budget as proposed by the City Manager, and report its findings to the City Council. The committee consists of five (5) members appointed by the Mayor with the concurrence of the City Council. The term of membership shall be for two years, with appointments made to coincide with the City’s two-year budget cycle. The term of membership shall conclude with the adoption of the budget report for Fiscal Year 2014-15. The Mayor shall offer one nomination for appointment to the committee for Council consideration. If you would like to be considered for current and/or future openings, applications are available on the City’s website at www.poway.org under the City Clerk’s Office tab, or in the City Clerk’s Office located in City Hall at 13325 Civic Center Drive. All applications must be submitted to the City Clerk's Office by December 31, 2013. The Appointment is scheduled for the January 21, 2014 City Council meeting.
